On Saturday May 4th, 2019,  it is decided to do an Iftar event on May 18th, 2019 between 6 and 10 PM. at AG Walters Middle school, 1235 Cedar Lane, Middletown, Delaware, 19709 for the entire Middletown community and the latest status of the future of the Masjid or Islamic center will be discussed there in. Further we are also planning to raise funds for the upcoming projects.

On Friday April 5th, 2019,  a repair of the basement ground water pumping system was started. This involved digging the wall side and create new waterways for the groundwater to flow and adding additional pit and pumps to take the load of the additional ground waters coming into the basement. This may not be a permanent solution, however it gives lot of hope that more basement flooding won’t occur, Insha Allah.

On Saturday March 23, 2019, Br Shah Nawaz brought a proposal to auction online, some trailers which were situated in Indiana. Though it is a risky bet, we have taken the brave step to go ahead and auction the trailers. Accordingly Br Shah Nawaz and Br Shahid made a visit to Indiana and secured those trailers. The total area of the secured trailers is approximately 8000 sq ft. May Allah Bless the brothers who have spent their own money and time for this great cause.

We were also weighing the possibility of constructing a new structure from ground up, which may costs us to the tune of around half a million and the following are plans and structures we were looking into.

On Saturday March 9, 2019, a couple of brothers visited near Lancaster, PA to look for used trailers aka manufactured structures and found very useful structures with area of 3500 -4000 sq ft. The costs is around $210,000.00. The cost includes installation once we provide all the utilities like gas, water, electricity and sewer connection.  The below photos give a frontal view of the trailers.

On Saturday March 2, 2019,  a contract was given to cut tree near the existing house as the tree roots were disturbing the very structure of the house extending its root all the way to basement and it caused cracks on the basement and a possible cause for unstoppable ground water flow into the basement.

On Saturday February 23, 2019,  We had to face with a major flood in the basement of the existing house on the property.  Though we tried to pump out with additional motors, the ground water was pouring in to the basement and the existing pumps were not able to take the load of the water.
